Christmas 2008

Christmas was great last year... A 3-days production in my church and it all went smoothly, even though there was a little hiccups here and there throughout the production. Still it was awesome and we were glad that the overall of the production was a success!

This is the percussion team that I trained to be played for Christmas, and I am proud of them as they did a really good job! Samuel took the lead during the production though as I wouldn't be able to do so due to the multimedia which I had to control.

I had a few Christmas surprises this year, especially the presents that I received from the percussion team.

First Christmas present I received was a Christmas card. The amazing thing was that a little kid named Timothy wrote me this! And he is only about 5 years old this year, I think (Abigail, correct me if I'm wrong).

But then, the next day after he gave me the card, he gave me more presents:

A colorful memo pad and a metal ruler! He told me that he bought for me the memo pad was because it's colorful and it's good for me to write. LOL XD Thanks Timothy!

Next up is this genuine Parker pen that I received from 4 kids in the percussion team; Daniel, Derby, Abigail and Suet Yen. They were very smart in buying this! When I opened up the present, Daniel asked me to look closely in more detail. Well, I thought he was asking me to pay attention to the warranty card there LOL. Then, I saw something written at the back of the pen...

MY NAME WAS ON THE PEN!!! And thank God they spelled my name correctly. Haha! Thank you very much Daniel, Derby, Abigail and Suet Yen!

This big Santa Clause Christmas card (Yes, it is a Christmas card) and the little Christmas tree was given by Milcah, which she did the Christmas card on behalf of the whole percussion team!

This was written in the card, and this is the cute part. During one of the percussion practice, she eventually had to ask everyone to sign their names on a piece of paper. That's where the signatures all came from. Some of the names she had to sign herself cos they didn't want to sign LOL. Thanks Milcah!

Thanks to Inez Ng too for supplying me a ginger bread man!

This is a errrrrrrrr... the head cover for key? Well ya it's something like that at least. Thank you Tze Mien!

A little nice and well-done Christmas card done by Jade and Li Teng. Thank you!

Lastly and not forgetting...

A leather belt from Ee Leen! She had a hard time thinking what present to get for me, as I couldn't think at all what I want other than that extremely expensive Apple MacBook XD Somehow she manage to get my Christmas present, and I do really need a nice leather belt as I don't have one yet. Thank you very much Ee Leen! <3

That was what I received for Christmas. Thank God for the year 2008 and hope everyone will have a blessed new year now! Even though the economy doesn't looks good...

Anyway, I have said this before that I will be changing the layout and switching my blog to a new theme and CMS. Somehow the plan kinda "didn't work", but I am planning once again to redesign the layout here. I have prepared the draft layout and will be finalizing it soon.

That's all for now, and hope for more frequent update here. Heh
