iPhone 2.2 Firmware Update

I have just updated my iPhone to version 2.2 recently. The update process seems to be very similar to the update of the version 2.1.

All you have to do is download the official IPSW 2.2 firmware from Apple and QuickPwn 2.2. Once you have acquired those 2 files, updating your iPhone will be a very easy process:

1. Backup your iPhone files in case any error occured (Especially when you need to reset it back to the factory settings).
2. Update your iPhone using iTunes 8.
3. Jailbreak and unlock using QuickPwn 2.2. Make sure you follow the steps of what must be done throughout the jailbreaking/unlocking process.

And there you go... Your iPhone will be updated to version 2.2. As simple as that :)

For more info, my iPhone was upgraded from 2.0 to 2.1 using QuickPwn, which I find the program really easy to use due to its GUI.
