iPhone 2.0

Yay! I'm proud to be the 1st generation iPhone 2.0 user! I'm really glad that I manage to upgrade the iPhone + jailbreak it without having much difficulty, and I manage to retain my contacts and SMSes during the upgrade. Before this, my contacts and SMSes were always wiped out because I wasn't smart enough to know how to back up my files lol.

Anyway, the iPhone 2.0 doesn't really look much difference from the previous that I had, that is 1.1.4. Maybe because my iPhone doesn't have the 3G and GPS feature. The Installer is totally different though, and now the iPhone apps are being charged now for some of them. For example...

Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart 3D, USD$9.99 (And no, I did not pay for this app =x)

Some of the games are totally cool, just like Crash Bandikoot where you use the iPhone's accelerometer to drive the kart! In other words, it is as if you are playing a racing game using the Wiimotes. More of like driving a real car! There is another game that I had which is also utilizing the iPhone's accelerometer really really really well.

Another classic game, BomberMan Touch, USD$7.99.

Yeap, even BomberMan Touch is available on the iPhone where you control it by touching the screen and the arrow key will appear. Some gaming companies are developing lots of good games like Crash Bandicoot and Bomberman Touch, because they are able to charge for the app on iTunes Store now lol. Another upcoming game that I'm looking forward to on my iPhone is Super Monkey Ball. I heard it had a very good rating for iPhone games.

Another app that I find really uber cool is the Remote app, and I love it too cos it's free LOL.

Remote application, USD$0.00.

With this application, I'm able to hear and change song from my iTunes on the computer through my iPhone! So basically it acts like a remote control, and it works really well because it uses the wireless to connect with the PC. However, it doesn't work with Windows Media Player =( lol.

More to come for iPhone 2.0. Those who have the 2nd generation iPhone would be having more fun with it I suppose. Anyhow, I'm looking forward for more cool apps for the iPhone 2.0.
