Chiang Mai Trip Day 4 & 5

DAY 4

My day started very early in the morning, at about 2.45am. You guys must be thinking "CRAZY WHY WAKE UP SO EARLY" or "Wahhh you so excited to go for the touring package until cannot sleep?"... Nah, none of those made me wake up so early.

When I woke up, I couldn't sleep anymore and I felt very strange. Yeah, so strange that I had to go to the toilet. It was my stomach ache that woke me up so early. Later, I came to know that I had food poisoning after I vomited really badly. Gah, it was terrible that morning, really. I vomited and lausai almost every 15-20 minutes for about 3 hours! I guess this is my first time vomiting and lausai-ing so many times, and spent almost my whole time staying awake and watching football. It has been quite some time since I watched a lot of football matches too XD

I'm glad it was all over after that morning. But then I was feeling really sick and weak and couldn't go for the tour. My parents didn't want to go too without me and thus, we had to cancel our tour package. Good thing they refunded about 40% of our money from the tour package's total to us.

Nothing much I did at all on day 4. Just stayed in the room for the whole day while my parents headed off to Warorot market again. It was amazing they came back with lots of local food, but unfortunately I had no appetite at all.

I had a bad headache around in the evening. So my dad headed off to 7-Eleven that was just opposite of our hotel and see whether they have Panadol. This part was funny after that: My dad does not know the scientific name for Panadol. When he went over to the shop where we rented our bikes from and ask the lady for Panadol, she had no idea what was Panadol. Then she asked, "Is it for fever and headache?" My dad nodded and the lady said, "Oh, That is paracetamol!" My dad wasn't sure what she was saying, as he only know what was Panadol and not paracetamol! LOL. In the end, the lady manage to help my dad to tell the counter in 7-Eleven that he wants paracetamol for fever.

At night, we headed off to Airport Central Plaza... again. We were suppose to go for Mae Ping river cruise for which we also had to cancel. Good thing we didn't pay for that package yet in day 3. So we did our last minute shopping before we depart from Chiang Mai tomorrow in the morning.

Went back to the hotel and had a rest after that while my parents made their way for another round of last minute shopping at the Night Bazaar which was just outside my hotel.

End of day 4.

DAY 5
Woke up in the morning at 7am to prepare ourselves and pack our things for departure. I still didn't feel good but at least I do have a little appetite to eat breakfast.

After our buffet breakfast in the hotel, we hired a van to send all of us to the airport.

11am (Bangkok time) was the departure time and we reached our heavenly home in the afternoon.

End of day 5 and my amazing Chiang Mai trip :)
