Chiang Mai Trip Day 3

I think I woke up abit late that morning and felt my leg muscle aching already. We had the same menu for our buffet breakfast.

My mum suggested we visit another market which was 10-15 minutes walk from the hotel. The market was known as Warorot market and the main things they sell there was food.

While walking, I spotted a store selling egg omelet with mussel. When I was going to place an order for it, I spotted another thing… A SHEMALE helping out in the store! Yeah, he was practically dressed up like a girl with really short pants and had make up all over his face. When he spoke, it was even kinda deep voice. Eeeeeeeee…

We didn’t stay around the market for long as we didn’t quite find it that interesting other than the food. Then my mum gave a better suggestion that we should rent a car or a bike to go around town because we won’t be doing anything else in the afternoon/evening.

So we dropped by at the car/bike rental which was just opposite our hotel to ask how much it is for the half-day rental. The car rental seems to be a little bit expensive but the bike was reasonable. We thought of squeezing 3 people in one bike, but the owner doesn’t allow that. So we rented 2 bikes instead of a car. What does this mean? Means I get to ride a bike for the first time and without a license! XD 3 brave Malaysians taking on the road of Chiang Mai!

Before we start our journey to move around town with the bike, we subscribe to a tour package (White Water Rafting, Elephant riding, Jungle trekking and Bamboo rafting) which cost us 1250 Baht (RM125) per person for the whole day tomorrow. We were also considering joining the Mae Ping river cruise with dinner tomorrow night. That will cost us 450 Baht (RM45) per person.

Once we were done with the tour package stuff, off we go on the road! It kinda took a while for me to learn how to ride a bike properly. The plan for me was basically to just follow my parents behind to wherever we wanted to go around town. The places we went were mostly malls.

This is interesting; “The north biggest computer center”! I thought it will be something like Low Yat already! But then it took us like 5 minutes to walk through the whole computer center =_= Nothing much in there and so called the biggest lol. I guess this place was used to be the biggest before the Central Airport Plaza was opened.

Planning our route to go back to our hotel.

We got back to our hotel before 7pm and I did really enjoy riding a bike around Chiang Mai town. My dad warned me that I can only ride a bike under my dad’s supervision lol.

We revisited the night bazaar again outside of our hotel after dinner to do any last minute shopping as we will not have much time tomorrow due to the tour package which will take us the whole day and the river cruise at night.

Headed to bed quite early as we will have to wake up at about 6am to eat breakfast and then prepare to go off for our tour package.

End of day 3.
